The Rural Project
16% of the UK’s population live in rural areas. The Rural Project is a partnership of gospel-centred churches aiming to equip rural Christian to take the gospel to their communities.
Part of the challenge is training. Smaller rural congregations will find it hard to access in-person training, which often occurs in city centres. This despite the fact that many rural leaders will be serving their churches alongside secular employment.
This is where Crosslands comes in. Crosslands is teaming up with the Rural Project to help train church leaders and members to take the gospel to their communities. Using the excellent Crosslands resources, groups of leaders in rural churches will use online learning to train them for the particular challenges they face.
