Duncan describes his role in youth work, why the Crosslands training attracted him, how it has helped him, and parts of the course he has enjoyed. He shared:
“I liked the idea of the way in which you get to actually do your ministry and alongside that be equipped and trained up in your theological understanding.”
“Our lectures around the Trinity were just really encouraging … it opened up my eyes once again to how big God is”.
“Youth ministry is not about entertainment, youth ministry is about desiring to see young people come to know Jesus, to be built up as believers of Jesus Christ. Knowing your bible, having the blessing of being trained by Crosslands has been huge in being able to help me in youth ministry and being able to communicate the gospel to young people and helping to disciple our young people in their faith.”
